Digital RAW photography retouched to emulate an underexposed/ underdeveloped 35mm negative film photograph scanned hard. Highlight contrast is increased and compressed to retain the peak detail, midtones are lighter, overall contrast is fairlly low and the shadow detail has been crushed and ruffed up. Shadows are deep but not dark, scratches, dust and grain have all been incorporated in this film simulation. Colours are fairlly neutral and slightly muted, skin tones have been injected with some colour as in the digital RAW photograph it seems as though they were omitted.
